Is it possible to capture motion in a painting? A theme I return to often is that of imaginary flora and fauna. The creatures and flowers and trees that I imagine if I were to design a world. In my mind I see birds flying rapidly through the sky, dashing here and there, glinting in the sunlight. Eying their next morsel or just moving from here to there, playing, singing, racing through the skies.
